Author Wallace D. Wattles wrote “the very best thing you can do for the whole world is make the most of yourself” in his book “The Science of Getting Rich”.
He also mentions that “the world is relying on you to be all you can be“.
Seems like a lot of responsibility to me!
I feel we all have this responsibility to live to our fullest potential without holding back.
We all are born with creative talents that we often toss aside somewhere down the road of desperation and dispair. We’ve all been there, wondering what to do next in our lives. Wondering if our real talents are worth it… or not.
But, it’s at that very point that we often decide to follow the advice of what those around us encourage us to do instead of what we are meant to do.
We listen to the recommendations of friends and family, we focus on the careers that pay the most, or simply take the most convenient job and become completely complacent.
And to our own peril, we ignore or push aside our own talents and creative gifts from the Universe.
If we truly want to operate from the highest vibration and live the most fullfilling life possible, we need to BE TRUE TO OURSELVES. For me, it’s always been a constant internal battle of whether my talents are even worthy or being seen by the world. I usually just crawled back into my safe “shell” and cowered away from my artistic side.
The problem is that this eventually becomes so normal and we eventually lose interest in our artistic talents, abilities, and interests altogether and sadly, sometimes NEVER revisit them again! They sit on the shelf to wither away.
And then we start to slowly wither away.
Are you committed to making the absolute most of yourself by using the talents you were born with and what bring you the most joy and inspiration?
