I am trying to learn to have patience during my self-healing process. Patience with myself… my body… the process. It isn’t always easy when we have expectations of ourselves. Our bodies are healing in unseen ways and this process requires patience.
Everything we do.. our mindset, emotions, vibration, diet, lifestyle all contribute to this self-healing process. Even how we treat others and ourselves. That is why it’s so important to be both mindful and patient during this self-healing process. Sometimes it can be difficult when our symptoms are flaring up and we see no physical evidence of healing.
We may not see the fruits of our efforts manifest right away – or in the time-period we expect them to – but they are growing and developing in the unseen world, just like a tiny seed that is growing in the darkness under the soil. What happens in the unseen eventually always manifests in the physical seen world.
I like to think of the faith as the same we have every winter, when all is frozen and lifeless, yet we KNOW without a doubt, that spring will come and everything will bloom again. That is the same faith we need to have in our own healing and recovery. We must have this unwavering faith and keep the image of perfect health in the forefront of our minds as much as possible.
